Emilee was born and raised in Beckley, West Virginia and is a proud Mountaineer. She graduated summa cum laude from West Virginia University in 2018 with her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy.
Emilee aspired to be an attorney at an early age. During law school, Emilee quickly knew she wanted to do Plaintiff work and help injured clients seek justice. Her passion, drive, and dedication contribute to her hard work for each and every client.
In 2022, she earned her Juris Doctor from West Virginia University College of Law. During law school, she was President of Women’s Leadership Council and practiced as a Student Attorney in the General Litigation and Advocacy Clinic, providing over 600 hours of pro bono service to clients in West Virginia.
Emilee joined Stephen New & Associates as an Associate Attorney on August 15, 2022. Emilee has practiced at Stephen New & Associates from the start of her career, representing plaintiffs in complex civil litigation. Emilee is involved in all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, motions practice, depositions, and trial. She is committed to providing clients with attentive, compassionate representation while pursuing favorable outcomes through both settlement negotiations and courtroom advocacy.
Emilee is a member of the American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, and the West Virginia Association for Justice. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and their beloved dog.
